BJLFP – Roma Est

BJLFP, aka Bobby Joe Long’s Friendship Party, aka Oscura Combo Romana. Bobby Joe Long’s Friendship Party get together almost by chance, in a garage not far from the Aniene river, in a cold winter night. Actually, they already existed, as a desire and internal drive. They came to life out of nowhere, in a clear moment of discomfort – one among many. The album “Roma Est” springs out of an unreassuring story, which transformed into a creative flow which gave birth to the tracks one after the other. All the imperfections due to lack of time, means and neglect contributed to shape a peculiar sound. A selfish component, dark and straight, pervades every song and mirrors the idea of the whole album, as well af that of how time flows in Roma Est. A record which is a personal manifesto and encompasses the youth of the author, after the lucky Antico Punk Inglese e Lesa Maestà.
