Antonio Aiazzi / Gianni Maroccolo – Mephisto Ballad – LP/CD

The first joint album by Antonio Aiazzi and Gianni Maroccolo, founder members of Litfiba. Starting from the memory of an event called “Mephistofesta” (1982), thirty-nine years later the duo goes back to “E.F.S. 44”, one of the darkest and most experimental pieces of the band. This springs new compositions collected in “Mephisto Ballad”, an album balancing between minimalism and electronics, full of dark shivers. A hommage to the past becomes a disenchanted look at the future.
